| [Tazz at the Survivor Series, then Raw the next night][Nov. 20, 2001] | |
| ------Tazz, who I supposed was not schedule to wrestle in the battle royal at Survivor Series, did. After WCW stars entered the ring, the WWF stars entered the ring. And behind the WWF stars was "The One Man Crime Spree", Tazz. The state of shock on Paul Heyman's face was indescribable. Paul repeatedly asked "What'she doing here?!" Tazz eliminated quite a few people until he was distracted Paul. Tazz turned his back to the rest of the participants and told Paul to get into the ring and fight him. "The One" Billy Gunn sneaked up from behind Tazz and threw the 5'7" monster over the top rope. Tazz got up and hurried to the commentary table only to be laughed at by Paul Heyman. The referees restrained Tazz and then finaly, Tazz gave up and left to the backstage area. It really would have been something if Tazz could have won the | |
| battle royal. Seemingly, Tazz was supposed to recieve a push, but being eliminated probably wasn't the best way to go about it. But hey, he lasted longer than alot of other people who were eliminated before him. Well anyway, later that night The Alliance, which was the faction that Tazz was apart of, was defeated by Team WWF. This meant that Tazz was out of a job and would make Tazz fans watch RAW the following night to see if Tazz made an appearance or not. |
|
| ------The next night on the November 19th episode of RAW, Vince McMahon announced that he would be starting a new club called "The Kiss Vince McMahon's ass club." This is where Vince would pick one Alliance member and save his or her career by letting them join the club. When Vince was about to announce the member, I sat infront of my VCR with my finger on the record button because I really thought he would pick Tazz (I record every Tazz match and apearance). To my surprise, Vince picked William Regal. After Regal ACTUALLY KISSED VINCE'S ASS, he left to the back stage area yelling and screaming at people telling them that "It's not funny!" Regal stopped walking when he came face to face with Tazz who was staring him down. "WHAT?! Have you got something to say sunshine? Do you want to bloody mock me or something?! Do you think it's funny?! You would have done the bloody same!", screamed Regal. Tazz calmly responded by saying "What a kiss ass!" Tazz | |
| turned to walk away and Regal struck Tazz in the head from behind. He then kicked Tazz and walked off. Later that night it was announced by JR and the returning Jerry Lawler that an impromptu match between Regal and Tazz was going to take place. When Tazz slid under the bottom rope, Regal began to pummel him. He stood up and backed Regal into a corner. He started throwing punches at Regal, then Regal reversed and threw punches at Tazz, then Tazz reversed and threw punches at Regal. |
|
| Tazz whiped Regal the the opposite corner and followed up with a vicious clothesline. Regal stood and swung. Tazz ducked and locked Regal in the Tazzmission. Regal backed Tazz into the corner and Tazz released the hold. Regal hit Tazz with a knee and locked on his version of the STF, the Regal Stretch. Tazz held out for a very long time. Long enough for the smoke from Tazz's pyro to reach and cover the ring. Tazz then tapped out and the match was over. All I have to say that it looked alot like Tazz vs. Austin all over again. I'm not going to bitch about it because it won't do any good. I will report though that during the match, JR said that it was rumored that Tazz was signed as a broadcaster. Probably for Smackdown! and maybe Tazz's show, HeAT. | |
