| It was Thanksgiving and I was downstairs watching Smackdown! with my brother, finishing up some candy yams after we had just eaten dinner. We started discussing how Tazz needed to be used alot better when all of a sudden Tazz telling this hot new broadcast lady that Vince had hired him back to the WWF as a commentator and as a wrestler because Vince was so impressed with what he did to "that slimy little worm," Paul Heyman. Then, out of nowhere, Funaki walks up and starts laughing in Tazz's face telling Tazz that he got beat by "kiss ass man last Monday night on RAW." Tazz began to "laugh" with Funaki. "Kiss ass man! That's funny," Tazz said. Tazz then struck Funaki and put him in the Tazzmission until the Big Show came from behind and pulled Tazz off of Funaki. "What the hell is wrong with you? Why don't you pick on someone your own size?" Big Show said to Tazz. Tazz responded with "You're about the size I wear." "You wanna try to wear me? Wear me," replied Big Show. Tazz told Big Show "he had a deal" and called Show "little man" before Tazz turned and walked away. Later that night Tazz once again came to the ring wearing his towl, and this time a less explosive pyro. Most likely that was because of all the smoke that covered the arena during his and Regal's match on RAW. Once Tazz was set in the ring, Big Show made an entrance, but as he was walking down the ramp, Tazz went to meet Big Show half way. Tazz ran out to the ring and without hesitation Big Show stuck up his big boot and knocked Tazz to the floor. He picked up Tazz and threw him into the ring. Tazz, knocked a little dizzy from the boot, ran for Show, but Show stuck his hand out and stopped Tazz in his tracks. He pushed Tazz down and Tazz got right back up and foolishly attempted to put Show in a T-bone Tazzplex, but Show elbowed Tazz in the back of the head and sent him wobbling to the corner. Big Show with a kick to the stomach. Show then whipped Tazz to the opposite turnbuckle, but stopped half way and sent Tazz back to the same turnbuckle that he was just in and Show followed it up with a clothesline. Big Show turned his back to a hazy Tazz and attempted to hit Tazz with a couple of Thumps (where Show takes his lower extremities and rams it into the stomach, or in this case chest, of his opponent), but Tazz quickly came to his senses and climbed up the Big Show's back wile using the ropes to desperately lock on the Tazzmission. Show went from corner to corner trying to smash Tazz between his own back and another corner, but the 5'7" Pitbull was so high up Show's back that only Tazz's butt could reach the top of the turnbuckle. Show stumbled to the middle of the ring with a face redder than a chile pepper. One knee hit the mat. Tazz locked it in tighter. The other knee was falling, but from out of nowhere Show gained a second wind and was able to squash Tazz by falling backwards. Tazz released the hold while Show layed on top of Tazz as the ref counted the three. The match was over, but the signs of effectiveness from the Tazzmission were obvious. After the match, Show held his throat with disbelief. In a battle of David vs. Goliath, Goliath won this time, but David gave it a helluva shot. |
