Man, I haven't been this excited since Tazz debuted in the World Wrestling Federation! I even skipped out on weight lifting after practice so I could be home in time to see this match. I mean, finally, Tazz was getting a title shot and it wasn't for the Hardcore title! It was a decent title. And not only that, I always imagined Tazz with the European championship as his first title. I don't know why. I just always thought it would look good. I'm sure I mentioned that atleast once somewhere on this site. Anyway, I had been sleeping all during RAW because usually I'm tired, and when I woke up it was around 10:30 I believe. I was worried that I might have missed the match, but then all of a sudden. . . CHRISTIAN! CHRISTIAN! ALAS YOU'RE ON YOUR OWN! Christian entered the arena with a great fear on his face. He was about to have a match like no other match he had ever had. This was his first real fued since he broke away from the tag team scene and who better to fued with than Tazz? Tazz entered the arena as the lights dimmed and orange spotlights panned around the audience. Tazz thug-walked down the rapm with a towl draped over his head, which I still think was a good idea. As he climbed into the ring, Christian blind-sided Tazz and started poundng on the "One Man Crime Spree," seeing how it would be difficult for someone of Christian's caliber to start the match fair. He even grabbed the towl that fell off of Tazz' head from off the mat and used it to choke Tazz into a corner. Christian threw a couple of right hands and proceeded to choke Tazz again, this time using his hands. As Tazz fell to the mat Christian latched onto the top rope and choked Tazz with his foot. Good strategy by Christian, but wrong opponent. As the referee broke the hold, it gave Tazz enough time to stand up and fight back the least bit, but with a rake of the eyes and a couple of kicks and punches from Christian's offence, Tazz was backed into the opposite corner receiving a couple more kicks and punches. Christian then pulled Tazz out of the corner by his head, but Tazz broke away the hands of Christian and landed some punches of his own. Christian though, came back with some offensive moves of his own and sent Tazz to the ropes, but Tazz reversed the whip and threw Christian into the ropes and bent down to attemt a back body drop but Christian saw this comming and stopped Tazz with a kick to the face. As Tazz stood straight up into the air, Christian went for the ropes again, but this time Tazz countered with his first offensive move of the match which was a Head and Arm Tazzplex. Christian to his feet and then back down with a furious clothesline from the "Human Wrecking Machine." When Christian made it back to his feet, he attempted a standing clothesline which was ducked by Tazz and turned into a tight waste Tazzplex, or a side Tazzplex, which was enough to turn this match around in Tazz's favor. And just like Smackdown, Christian went for the Unprittier, but was countered with a Tazzmission! Christian then distracted the ref and low blowed Tazz which caused his to relinquish the Tazzmission. Christian then went for the Unprittier again and this time completed the move. He pinned Tazz for the count of three, but believe me, this was not the end of the night for Christian and Tazz. The referee presented Christian with his retained European belt and raised his hand in victory. They then went and showed a replay of the conclusion of the match and came back to live TV. There, Christian was seen taunting Tazz and even slapping Tazz in the face. He dropped his belt and brought Tazz to his feet. He picked up his belt and went to ram it into the skull of Tazz, but instead Christian's plans were foiled when Tazz ducked and locked on the Tazzmission once again. This time taking Christian off his feet and wrapping his legs completely around his limp body. Tazz stood a little dazed as his theme music played. Another time, another day for Tazz to win the title. From what I have heard, Christian is supposed to have a match on Tazz's show, HeAT, so don't expect to see Tazz at WWF New York on this upcomming Sunday. And don't forget to watching Smackdown on Thurday night for more of the Tazz/Christian fued. AND.. Don't forget to vist the Tazz Message boared where my partner, BIG Mike, has posted his Tazz predictions. Go ahead and feel free to post yours as well. |
